Comic Relief has teamed up with Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and The Clothworkers Foundation to re-launch its Tech vs Abuse funding programme.
The programme is now open for applications and closes midday, July 4th. It offers up to 12 x £50,000 grants towards “creative digital solutions to improve the safety of people affected by abuse and improve service delivery”. Applicants are invited to address one of the programme’s four design challenges. These challenges have been updated through a co-design process since the previous funding round and include:
- Realising it’s abuse
- Finding the right information at the right time
- Effective real-time support services
- Recovery
The programme has changed in other ways too. It is now:
- More inclusive
- Encourages collaborative bids (up to £75k available for collaborations)
- Focuses only on early stage concept testing and prototyping projects
